The Delaware Division of the Arts is proud to support and promote Delaware's artists, arts organizations, and arts programming of community-based organizations. In partnership with the National Endowment for the Arts, and through annual appropriations from the Delaware General Assembly, we are able to invest more than $1.75 million dollars annually in arts programming statewide, serving more than 1 million people. But those are just numbers. How do you measure the beauty of a painting, the excitement of the orchestra building to an exhilarating fortissimo, or the power of the poet's words capturing the essence of hope, despair, life itself? From dancers, painters, and poets, to museums, theaters, and concerts, Delaware presents an abundance of culturally rich offerings, reflective of its diverse population. We invite you to share in the creative process that brings meaning to life, nourishes the soul, and strengthens our communities and quality of life. Participate in the arts. Acquaint yourself with one of Delaware's many artists, get carried away by the magic of a theater performance, frequent one of Delaware's world-renowned museums, experience one of Delaware's many unique festivals.
